We are always striving for more, and maybe we miss what we already have. I hope my favourite artist of 2016 so far is not doing that!

In 2015 he enjoyed massive success in his native Ireland, and 2016 he is now trying to break America and the UK. He might not manage it (although I hope he does!).

It doesn’t matter whether he does for me as he is already a massive success with his fellow countrymen, and has created for me one of the most evocative and emotive albums I have heard for a long time.

Click on the image to watch a video of his song 22, and I will be stunned if you are not moved to understand better what humanity is about, from the combination of lyrics and images.
